CAS includes 24 academic units, organized under the disciplinary areas of the humanities, the natural and mathematical sciences, and the social sciences. The college also includes the interdisciplinary areas of Women’s Studies, African and African American Studies, Judaic Studies, International Studies, Bioinformatics, and Public Health. ROTC programs are housed in the College of Arts & Sciences as well. In addition, numerous research centers are based in the college.
