Florida State Law is currently accepting applications from undergraduate students for its 2008 Summer for Undergraduates Program, which provides select students with an inside look at law school and the legal profession.
Some of the below programs are available on a competitive basis to African-American students only; others are available to all academically and/or financially disadvantaged ethnic minorities and women students. Pathway to Health Careers Program
East Tennessee State University announces its Pathway to Health Careers Program, which is sequentially structured to provide students the guidance they need for the pursuit of a health science career. The program is used to transition students to the next academic level as well as to provide constant exposure to the health science field. Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA)
SNPhA is an educational service association of minority students who are concerned about pharmacy and health care related issues, and the poor minority representation in pharmacy and other health-related professions. The Pittsburgh MSTP offers a 10-week summer research and professional development program for underrepresented minority students interested in careers as physician scientists. The program is designed for students in their freshman, sophomore or junior years of college. A stipend of $3,500 plus round trip airfare is provided.
