Affiliation with the Center for Research on Women (CROW) entitles researchers and scholars to join a multidisciplinary group of faculty who are committed to issues of social equality and to scholarship that advances an integrative understanding of race, class, gender, and sexual orientation. Benefits: CROW affiliates are eligible for the following benefits: -
access to funds for travel, as available, to interdisciplinary conferences and other professional activities related to the CROW mission; -
utilization of the CROW office infrastructure for research-related activities (e.g., duplicating, grant proposal preparation, graphic design assistance); -
mentoring and other assistance with securing external research funds; -
access to collaborative opportunities for research; -
access to community partners with which CROW has developed relationships; -
the right to apply for graduate research assistance through the Women’s Studies program; and -
potential coverage of affiliate's related professional work in the nationally distributed CROW newsletter, StandPoint. Responsibilities: Affiliates are expected to participate actively in one or more CROW-sponsored activity. Some of these options include:Research: Participate in one of CROW's Research Interest Groups listed below, or in a separate interdisciplinary research project or community-based research partnership. -
