Things you should know

• Checks up to $100.00 per day ($.50 fee) can be cashed at the Bursar's office (with University ID) on the first floor in Wilder Tower - NO THIRD PARTY CHECKS ACCEPTED!
• There are two field trips. (To be announced) Souvenir money will be needed for these trips.
• There are 3 occasions where meals will not be provided on campus. However, a stipend will be provided to each student for these occasions. (You may want to bring additional money for these times.)
• Mail will be delivered to the dormitory by the Resident Counselors. If you are expecting a package, check with your Resident Counselor or a faculty member on duty. There will be no mail on the weekends.
• The University Bookstore is open Monday-Friday 8:00 to 4:30 p.m. (closed July 4 and on weekends)
• You are expected to wear your nametag at all times.
• You will receive a Student Handbook, T-shirt, tote bag, 3-ring binder, 3-subject spiral notebook, curriculum and textbooks upon arrival at GSIS.
