Governor's School for International Studies Resource Links
 

The University of Memphis is proud to announce The Governor's School for International Studies beginning June 8, 2008 and ending July 11, 2008.

The Governor's School for International Studies (GSIS) provides five week immersion into the world around us, including global cultures, languages and perspectives. Moreover, the program provides a rigorous introduction to the field of International Studies, including six credit hours of college coursework.

The University of Memphis is located in the heart of Tennessee's growing international corporate center on the banks of the Mississippi River - home to Federal Express, Holiday Inns and Schering-Plough.

This webpage contains information regarding the most recent GSIS. While information for the 2008 program (schedules, course syllabi, etc.) will not be posted until late spring 2008, this site will give you an accurate picture of the GSIS experience and what to expect for the upcoming program.
