In addition to participating in the University Honors Programs, undergraduate English majors may participate in the English Honors Program. Students who complete the English Honors Program and the regular college requirements are recognized at the Commencement ceremony by having their degree conferred "With Honors in English." Moreover, their diploma and record at The University of Memphis reflect this designation.
