Application for English graduate admission is made directly to the Graduate School. The Graduate School forwards your application to the Department of English, and since this process can take several weeks, it is advisable to submit your application well in advance of deadlines.
General information concerning application can be found online at the University of Memphis website Admission to Graduate School page. Application may be made online by filling out the electronic application to the Graduate School. This page will refer you to a site outside the University that handles the transaction and forwards your application to the University. Electronic application requires that you have a valid credit card.
