AdvisingThe Undergraduate Advising Center serves all students in The College of Arts and Sciences The Undergraduate Advising Center in the College of Arts and Sciences provides the overall direction for the advising process in the College. Students are assigned to advisers in the department of the selected major. Our staff includes faculty, professional advisors, and graduate assistants. Academic advisors are assigned to students by the academic department upon admission to the degree program. The responsibilities of the Office of Undergraduate Advising are: - Provides overall direction for the advising process in the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Processes transfer evaluations for all students in the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Prepares degree audits for all students in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Students can initiate the paperwork for the following procedures in the Undergraduate Advising Center:All students in the College of Arts and Sciences must file their "Intent to Graduate" paperwork in 107 Scates Hall at least 2 semesters before they intend to graduate. (90 hours or more). The graduation analyst will send students a "Summary of Coursework Remaining," which students must discuss with their advisor. Students will NOT be placed on the graduation list until they have returned their Summary of Coursework Remaining, signed by both the student and the advisor, to 107 Scates Hall.
